The AutoInterests Auction Is Coming Over more than two decades, a lot of equipment traveled with us from racetrack to racetrack—and many of you will recognize it immediately. The classroom cart you gathered around during driver meetings. The hospitality carts that served as the center of event activity. The signs that pointed you toward Tech, Classroom, Hospitality and Merchandise. The Mustang. The trailer. Timing systems, helmets, canopies, benches, radios, equipment carts and all the pieces that helped us transform an empty paddock or garage into an AutoInterests event. Now, all of it is getting ready for its next chapter. SAVE THE DATE! Online bidding is expected to open Wednesday, October 14 and close Wednesday, October 21. The entire auction will be conducted online, so you can browse the catalog and place bids from anywhere. The full auction catalog, bidding link and pickup details will be shared as soon as they are available. There Is Something for Almost Everyone Some of the auction is serious equipment ready to go back to work: The AutoInterests cargo trailer with living quarters The 1994 Mustang GT prepped track car Westhold and FarmTek motorsports timing systems Mobile classroom, hospitality, merchandise and operations carts iPads, mobile camera stations, and other tech Rental helmets and sanitizing equipment Canopies, traffic cones, signs, benches, tables, radios and event equipment Some of it could have a completely different—and extremely cool—next life. The powered classroom cart could become the ultimate garage movie-night setup. The supplemental hospitality cart could become a complete garage, workshop or patio snack-and-beverage station. The Bluetooth-controlled full-size traffic light would make one incredible garage centerpiece. The merchandise cart could display trophies, helmets, die-cast cars or years of racing memorabilia. And some items are simply pieces of AutoInterests history. We are listing many of the AutoInterests and CARFEST banners and signs individually so former customers, instructors, volunteers and team members have a chance to own the particular piece they remember. There will also be lots of branded shirts, old run-group decals and other assorted memorabilia from years of events. If you ever wished you could bring a little piece of AutoInterests home with you, this is your chance. Watch your inbox for the complete catalog and auction link. We cannot wait to see where these pieces go—and what their new owners do with them next.
