We have had a large number of drivers unaware of some of our newer system changes so we are sending this reminder that effective for the 2020 season your Run Group is tied to your user account, and you will only have access to the Run Group you are assigned to and the ones below it.

If you registered for any 2019 season events, your Run Group was automatically assigned based on your most recent event registration.  If an instructor moved you up but you did not register for another event subsequent to that occurring, it may not be reflected in our system.

Please check the "Run Group" tab in your autointerests.com user profile before registering for events:

  • Log in at autointerests.com

  • Go to "My Account"

  • Click on "Run Group"

If you register in an Instructed Run Group where a surcharge applies, these fees cannot be refunded (we will issue a courtesy store credit if you request to change to a higher group and it is approved) but order charges cannot be changed/reversed after the order is placed.

If you have not driven with AutoInterests for a while:

Your group may be 'Unassigned' if the last time you drove with us was 2018 or earlier - in which case you will only have access to the "First Timer" run group by default.  Please e-mail us to request to be placed in a higher group if needed.  We can manually lookup the last Run Group you drove in with us upon request if you do not remember it.  If you have had on-track driving experience since last driving with us, please provide your driving history with your Run Group change request so a determination can be made for appropriate assignment.

If you have created a new autointerests.com user account:

All new accounts are defaulted to First Timer.  Please e-mail events@autointerests.com with your driving history (or request that we lookup your history from your old account if you have one) and we can get you assigned to the appropriate group.  We generally recommend avoiding creating new accounts for this reason; if you wish to change your username or other information, please e-mail us and we will be glad to assist.
