You must do this for each day!

COMPLETE YOUR PRE-CHECK-IN NOW:

1. Log into your account at autointerests.com
2. Click on "My Account", then go to the "My Events" tab
3. Click on "View & Manage" for this event
4. Click on START to begin pre-check-in
5. Sign the WAIVER, click save
6. Sign the TECH FORM, click save
7. Upload a photo of your driver's license or other photo ID
8. Your pre-check-in status will display "Completed" when you're done.

INSTRUCTOR SHIRT(S)

Please remember to bring and wear your AutoInterests Instructor shirt (if you do not have one but requested one, you will receive your shirt that day). 

COMMUNICATION DEVICE

Instructors are required to have a communication device. We do not have extras or rentals, make sure you have and bring your own! We do have rental Speedcom headsets for students (so they don't have to share if you have 2 students). We also have free replacement foam baffles for your microphone ends.

INSTRUCTOR ID CARD

At your first AutoInterests event of the season, you will receive your instructor ID card. Make sure you bring this with you to EVERY AutoInterests event! Please wear your ID badge during the event, as it will help your students identify you, and it is what allows you to:

• skip the tech line
• get free coffee & bottled water at Hospitality
• pick up your free instructor lunch
• get 10% off merchandise
• get the Wifi password
• get 3 free passenger wristbands per day (passenger must come to Hospitality to sign the waiver)
• get 10% off helmet rental

1. Complete your pre-check-in prior to the instructor meeting!
2. Please arrive at the track on time and be ON TIME for the mandatory instructor meeting, followed by the driver meeting (check your INSTRUCTOR SCHEDULE for exact times).
   1. MEETING LOCATION: 
      at Mid-Ohio in the Cooper Tires Garage
      at GingerMan in the pavilion
      at Pitt Race in the classroom
      at Nelson Ledges in the picnic pavilion
      at Summit Point in the classroom
3. Please self tech your car, and you will receive your packet/credentials at the instructor meeting.
   1. DECALS: small tech decal goes on the top corner of the windshield (driver's side)
   2. WRISTBAND: instructor wristband goes on your LEFT wrist
   3. NUMBERS: one on each side of the car (doors or rear windows)
4. If you requested one, your instructor lunch can be picked up at AutoInterests Hospitality.
5. Instructors may visit Hospitality for free coffee and bottled water as you need it - just show us your instructor ID card.
6. The instructor run group is reserved solely for instructors, however when you are not instructing or riding with a student, you are permitted to drive in any other run group.

Please note: the LIVE SCHEDULE and your INSTRUCTOR SCHEDULE is the best place to view while at the event. Both of those get updated in real time if any changes are needed.

Please read our instructor manual (linked below) prior to your first event of the season!

If you are ready to

• move your student into a higher run group and/or
• approve them for passengers and/or
• approve them for the open session,

visit AutoInterests Hospitality WITH your student - you will complete a short form and we will issue the appropriate credentials.

Instructors will use the form below to approve and/or advance a driver. These will be available in the classroom and at Hospitality.

We are not responsible for you or your vehicle.  Your auto insurance coverage at HPDE events can vary widely between different carriers.  Some insurance carriers provide zero coverage whatsoever at any "race track facility".  Some will provide coverage when participating in non-competitive educational events such as ours in accordance with your normal "street" policy.  Some provide coverage for events at race tracks only with a rider or additional charge.

It is your responsibility to check with your individual agent or insurance company in advance of participating in any event to be sure you are satisfied with the level of coverage you will have while participating.

AutoInterests is partnered with Lockton Motorsports for HPDE Insurance coverage. If you are at all concerned about your level of insurance coverage at the track we strongly suggest you consider purchasing a policy that guarantees your coverage.
